Taking a Look at the National Real Estate Investors Association Web Site

Each month we review the web sites of groups who focus on helping real estate investors maximize their potential. The National Real Estate Investors Association (National REIA) is a non-profit trade association which is comprised of many local associations and investment clubs sprinkled throughout the country. According to their web site, the group represents "local investor associations, property owner associations, apartment associations, and landlord associations."

The trade group lists a number of membership benefits in their site including educational opportunities, business building resources, access to unique insurance programs designed for the needs of National REIA members, tools and discounts for landlords, marketing resources, and opportunities to save on office and property maintenance supplies.

The National REIA also helps to keep their members up-to-date on the latest legislative issues which may impact their livelihoods. Their web site also lists a number of conferences that they host throughout the year on a variety of topics including a 2011 winter cruise conference that travels to Galveston, Roatan (Honduras), Cozumel (Mexico), and Belize City (Belize).

The site also features a list of preferred vendors including advertisers, a background screening company, finance companies (although none appear to offer investment property loans), and an insurance company. Whether you elect to join the association or not, you can still check out these companies' offering.

Search for the closest National REIA member in your area.
